LESS PRESSURE NEEDED, SAFER OPERATION

Our advanced heating system can heat the CO2 up to 48,5°C in order to relax the colon muscles.
According to clinical trials, heating the colon relaxes the muscles and helps the distension. The consequence is that you need can set less pressure for the same distention. Setting less pressure is safer and more comfortable for the patient.

BUSCOPAN NO LONGER REQUIRED

With the heating system of the VMX-1020A, you will no longer need Buscopan injection.
Getting ride of Buscopan injection is a key safety feature for patients, as it has a long list of side effects that can be very severe.  It also allows the patient to drive his car home immediately after the exam, which is not recommended after a Buscopan injection.

ANY LEVEL OF CLEANLINESS

Depending on the nature of the preparation, the colon can range from being completely clean to containing residual liquids or stools.  You can define the level of cleanliness of the patient in your protocols or even in real time during the insufflation.
If you discover during the scout view that the colon has a poor preparation, you can immediately use this function and ensure a proper distention. Changing this parameter will change the algorithm of the VMX-1020A and will adapt the insufflation parameters to be always the more efficient possible and to realize quick insufflations whatever the type of preparation.
This is also very useful when a patient did not follow perfectly the instructions of the preparation.

FECAL TAGGING PREPARATION

Fecal tagging preparation is used when you need a CTC exam without a preparation. You just do a previous cleaning of the colon with contrast and water and then the CTC exam. This function will help you a lot as Fecal Tagging preparations let in the colon a high level of liquids and sometimes stools in the patient colon.
