Samsung's BodyTom, a portable CT scanner, was installed in the Dragon's Heart Hospital, Cardiff, as the first in the UK. We would like to thank all the frontline staff and everyone involved in transforming the Principality Stadium.
The BodyTom, a battery powered 32 slice CT scanner, is internally lead shielded which helped fast track the installation. The internal drive system allows for a single operator to transport and set up the scanner anywhere it needs to go, transforming any room in the hospital into an advanced imaging suite.
