East Kent trust were delighted to increase their Samsung Portfolio with 4 RS85 Prestige’s & an HS40 in March. The trust now boasts 3 RS80’s, 7 RS85’s, 5 RS85 Prestige’s, HS60 & a HS40 within their Radiology, Obstetric, Breast and Neurophysiology Department. The trust has been extremely impressed with the image quality, advanced software features and the applications support the Samsung systems and MIS healthcare have been able to provide. MIS Healthcare is extremely proud of the long-standing relationship with East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust.
Lee Gavin (Ultrasound Principal) and Sarah Matthews (Clinical Technologist and Deputy Quality Manager) both stated, “we first purchased the RS80a systems in 2015 for our breast assessment centre at The Kent and Canterbury Hospital after a multi-vendor tender with the NHS Supply Chain. We were so impressed with the excellent image quality and resolution of the system and 5 years later these systems still consistently deliver! Over the past couple of years we have purchased even more units for our general and obstetrics departments. The Clinical team has been extremely positive about the Samsung Systems.
The systems have been easy to implement as we have had excellent support from the MIS Clinical Applications Team who have always been available when needed and who have really gone the extra-mile to support us. The clinicians have been very impressed with the advanced functions available on the units including the MV Flow feature and CEUS package. Sonographer's have reported that the system is intuitive and ergonomic and have found that the RS85 V2 systems also provide additional features such as Shadow HDR, which have been really well received. We are very happy with our Samsung ultrasound systems; they are reliable, provide superior image quality and are well supported by the unlimited applications support."
